Napo has identified NP-500, a product for insulin-resistant diseases of Type II diabetes and Syndrome X (also known as Metabolic Syndrome). This compound lowers glucose, increases insulin sensitivity, and lowers blood pressure.
Additionally, Napo has a library of approximately 2,300 medicinal plants. All of these are available to be screened to discover new chemical entities and new pharmaceutical products.
