Sir William Young joined the board of Napo in April 2007. He is an experienced investor and banker and serves on several private and non-profit boards. He is a director of the Vector Fund, a specialist equity hedge fund, and of New World Management SA, a Geneva-based trust management company. Previously, he has served as a director of Barclays Private Banking Limited, the head of the Middle East for Coutts and Co., the head of investment for the Saudi International Bank and several other firms, institutions, and funds in London, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
