Clinical Trials in Progress: ADVENT (NP303-101)
Napo is conducting a Phase 3 clinical trial (ADVENT) to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a new therapy with the investigational agent crofelemer, for the treatment of diarrhea in patients with HIV infection.
All patients will receive the study drug twice daily and record diarrhea
symptoms daily. There will be 9 clinic visits. A total of 350 subjects
at up to 50 sites in the United States will participate in this study.
